Welcome from the Registrar
The Admissions team here at the College is very aware that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a parent will make and that the process is different for every family.
Details are given in this area of the website about the points of entry, the procedure and costs. Entry is usually either into the Third Form (Year 9) or the Lower Sixth (Year 12). Occasional spaces may occur in year 10 but this is exceptional.
The first thing to do is to get in touch with the school and arrange an appointment for an individual visit. Websites are very important and are often the first point of contact, giving a flavour of the life of the College, but nothing can replace a personal visit, enabling you to get under the skin of Lancing and experience its atmosphere.
During your visit, which usually lasts around an hour and a half, we aim for prospective families to meet with the Head Master, spend some time in a House with a Housemaster or Housemistress, tour the school with a pupil and also meet with me. We encourage you to use the visit as an opportunity to find out what life really is like here.
Visits can be arranged for any time between 9.00am and 2.00pm, Tuesday to Friday, and 9.00am and 11.30am on Saturday, in term time.
To book your appointment, or for further information, please call the Admissions Office on +44 (0)1273 465805, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hope we may look forward to welcoming you here soon.
