Entry into the Sixth Form is assessed in November by:
- References from the current school
- Academic interviews
- Computerised Cognitive Ability Test
- A personal statement
All candidates must be registered by mid-October. Places are offered in early December to successful candidates, subject to their meeting the normal GCSE qualifications for Sixth Form entry (a minimum of five B grades, which would usually include English, Mathematics and a foreign language).
When the successful candidate is offered a place at Lancing, the payment of an Entrance Deposit of £1000 is required. This deposit is refunded when the pupil leaves the College.

Sixth Form Open Evening
An Open Evening for pupils and parents considering Lancing College for the Sixth Form.
This is a relaxed and tailored evening for pupils and parents. You will have the opportunity to talk to our Sixth Form subject leads, find out about our UCAS preparation, hear about the extensive co-curricular activities and understand more about our Leaving Lancing programme. You will have the opportunity to talk to the Head Master, current Sixth Form pupils and also Housemasters/Housemistresses about our facilities for boarding and day pupils.
The evening will start at 6pm. if you would like a tour of the College beforehand we would be delighted to show you around from 5pm. Please do let us know if you would like this opportunity.
