Our Support Network

Providing Support: The Pupils' Network

Pastoral care is taken very seriously at Lancing.

Housemasters and Housemistresses, house matrons and tutors, health centre staff, school doctors, a professional counsellor and of course the Chaplain all provide pupil support. Every year the College trains a number of Sixth Formers to act as Peer Supporters. Pupils can always turn to someone who will listen and understand. The College is regularly inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate. A 'Pupils' Charter', setting out our aims and responsibilities, is given to all new members of the College.

Pupils are articulate whether in debate or talking informally, and are successful in national debating and public speaking competitions.
