The range and diversity of all that is on offer at Lancing College complements the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Through the many school activities, students have the opportunity to complete the various skill, volunteering and physical sections of the Award.
The Award Scheme develops self-confidence and self-reliance. New talents are discovered and leadership skills are enhanced. In addition, new friends are made and achievement is linked with 'fun'.
The Award has three levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold, and sections include Volunteering, Skills, Physical and Expedition. At Gold level the students also complete a residential placement.
Lancing College is proud to continue running its own independent licence, which it has held since 1963.
