Being able to attend Lancing was for me, a chance in a lifetime. In my early years I was placed in long term foster care and as I grew older my talent for singing grew and was recognised when I auditioned, and was accepted for, a scholarship at Lancing. The education I received at Lancing helped me thrive and grow in confidence, especially with my singing. Lancing was truly a second home for me demonstrated by the caring nature of the staff and the friends that I made. My favourite memories of the College will always be singing in the weekly Chapel services and the choral scholars group, which filled me with pride and confidence. It is wonderful to be able to say I am an OL and I am eternally grateful for my education at Lancing.
