It is with great sadness that the College has to announce the loss of Dennis Day, an extraordinary Mathematics teacher for over 40 years.
Dennis was a long standing member of the Common Room at Lancing between 1955 and 1995. He left a lasting impression on many Lancing pupils, was an inspiration to those he taught and was highly regarded by the academic community.
He was housemaster of Field’s from 1973 – 1987 and was devoted to the Chapel in every way where he served as Secretary to the Friends and Chair of the Fabric Committee.
