Nick Baldock joined Lancing College to teach History in September 2017. Prior to this he spent several years as a professional actor, during which time he also taught History at King Edward's School, Birmingham, and worked as a consultant for a company that assisted applicants to Oxford and Cambridge.
Dr Baldock graduated with a BA in History from Cambridge University and then a PhD from Yale University, en route to which he was a successful Teaching Fellow for John Gaddis' undergraduate Cold War course. He subsequently acquired a Diploma in Musical Theatre Performance from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, New York. In August 2016, his play about Rupert Brooke, Verge of Strife, was produced at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
