Dr. Harry Brünjes graduated from London University and qualified in Medicine at Guy’s Hospital. His career has been in medicine, initially as a hospital doctor, progressing to having his own practice in Harley Street, before playing a leading role in a number of privately owned medical groups.
In 1995 Harry started Premier Medical and in 2005, after ten years as Chief Executive officer, became Chairman of the Premier Medical Group (PMG). In 2010 Premier Medical was acquired by Capita. Harry remains Chairman of PMG and was also appointed Group Medical Director of Capita. He retains interests across the medical profession and holds non-Exec positions include The Good Care Group and Chairman of Newman’s Clinic, Equity Red Star and Lloyd’s Syndicate. In 2010 Harry was elected Vice-President of the College of Medicine; he is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
With a lifelong interest in music and theatre, Harry is a Council member of Southwark Cathedral Development Trust and is Chairman of the English National Opera and the London Coliseum.
Harry is a regular writer, broadcaster and lecturer. He is a former parent of Lancing College and married to Jacquie Storey (well-known dancer and choreographer); their four children all attended the school.
