The Lancing Rovers movement continues to go from strength to strength.

Despite going down to a narrow 12 run loss away at Milfield (the eventual winners) in the Cricketer Trophy, the club enjoyed another splendid Rovers week in July. Equally as superb was the news of a first class debut (and wicket) for Will Fazakerley (School, 2011-2016) and Mason Crane (Head’s 2010-2015) being (1) selected for the England T20 side (2) called up for the West Indies test series and (3) called up for the upcoming Ashes series in Australia!

As much as I may try, a single paragraph could not possibly do justice to all of the Rovers' summer antics so please do visit our new website:

Here you will find a full report of Rovers week from the president of the club, Tim MacKenzie (Olds, 1981 -1986), as well as the latest Rovers news, photos, results, upcoming fixtures and a newly opened club shop!

The club already has confirmed two exciting new fixtures for 2018 - The Ivy Cricket Club and Oundle Rovers - and it is in the process of organising a well overdue club dinner at Lords for next spring so watch this space!

Up the Rovers!
