Mr Alasdair Tobias

Alasdair joined Lancing College in September 2014 as Teacher of Economics. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of York and an MA in Middle East Studies from the University of Exeter, which included a period studying Arabic in Cairo. He also holds an Independent Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Buckingham.

As well as a year teaching in Japan on the JET programme, he has worked for a number of education organisations such as the General Teaching Council for England and the National College for School Leadership. Prior to joining Lancing he worked for four years as an editor for an education website.
