Olivier attended Université Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV where he studied Business with Spanish, inclusive of an international Erasmus placement in Barcelona, Spain. He subsequently gained his PGCE with QTS in Modern Languages (ages 11-18) in 2010 - after a successful career working as a HR Consultant in London, which started right after returning from a sabbatical year in Australia.
He was previously a Head of Department in a selective state school and he joined Lancing College in September 2015, currently teaching both French and Spanish to A Level; all of which after gaining experiences teaching the IB Diploma Programme at Brentwood School and Gresham's School, respectively.
His current professional interests include almost anything connected with Linguistics, running the Sixth-Form Spanish Society and English as an Additional Language, due to his recent CELTA qualification. He has also enjoyed being a Form / Academic Tutor since his very first teaching days.
Having lived close to now 15 years in the UK, Olivier is an avid current affairs reader, keen amateur cook and lifelong Formula 1 enthusiast, who is most likely to be found with his wife scouring the globe in search of unique encounters and experiences.
