Louise Brünjes joined Lancing to be Head of Learning Support in September 2017.
She holds a BA in Modern European Studies from Loughborough University, a PGCE in German and French from Cambridge University (where she learned to cox the Hughes Hall men's eight boat crew) and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. After university, Louise completed officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, leaving as Captain in 1990. She then spent time in publishing and training before taking up a teaching post on the South Coast. Both her children attended Lancing College. Louise taught English, French, Girls' Games and held an SLT position before moving into teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties. She holds a Level 7 Certificate in Psychometric Testing and Assessment and is a member of the British Psychological Association.
