Rebecca McNamara joined Lancing in September 2017 as a Learning Support teacher. Previously she spent three years running her own business as a specialist SEN tutor and assessor, working with a variety of schools and individuals on the Isle of Wight.
Rebecca began her teaching career, after training in London, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She returned to the UK and has taught in various schools, the most recent being Portsmouth Grammar School. Along the way she has completed a Master's degree at the Institute of Education and postgraduate studies in dyslexia. Rebecca is also a member of the British Psychological Society.
She has a keen interest in the countryside and also manages twelve acres of unimproved meadows on the Isle of Wight.
