Dr Christy Edwall

Christy has a doctorate in Romantic poetry from New College, Oxford,  following an MPhil at Clare College, Cambridge, and a double-first in English Language and Literature at Harris Manchester College, Oxford. A published writer and reviewer, Christy’s first novel, History Keeps Me Awake at Night was published by Granta in 2023. At Lancing, which has a proud history of creative writing, she leads weekly workshops and regular one-to-one feedback sessions with student writers.
