Lancing College Choir Performs at St Paul’s Cathedral

Our talented choir had the privilege of performing at the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, renowned for its remarkable 10-second acoustic. The choir delivered an impressive performance, featuring music by Stanford and Fauré, under the direction of Mr Alexander Mason, our Director of Music.

Mr Mason praised the choir for their outstanding performance, noting, “Solos were expertly sung by Maria N and Tom C, and the whole choir sang with incredible poise for so early in the term.”

This remarkable opportunity highlights the choir’s dedication and musical skill, setting a high standard for the year ahead.

The choir regularly performs Evensong at the Lancing College Chapel, a service that is open to the public. The much-anticipated annual carol service is fast approaching, and we invite the community to join us for A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten. Performed by the Lancing College Choir on Advent Sunday, this special service will showcase Britten’s timeless settings of festive poetry, set against the candlelit splendour of the Chapel.
