Most Improved Rider announced for Lent Term

Lancing’s Equestrian Centre is enjoyed by pupils across all years and abilities. With this in mind, the staff at the Centre created a termly accolade to honour one pupil with the ‘Most Improved Rider’ award. Irrespective of whether the individual is a beginner or a more advanced rider, the award recognises the hard work shown across the term.

Following on from Julius O’s success in the Autumn Term, the Centre has announced that the Lent Term winner is Third Former Sofia R. Despite only joining the College in September, the staff have seen Sofia push herself out of her comfort zone and develop her riding skills. This has been exemplified by her participation in the NSEA Pop-Up Dressage and the Internal Show Jumping Competition. The latter saw Sofia and Diesel take on two different heights with excellent technique. We look forward to hearing more about Sofia’s success at future competitive events.

Well done to all the hard-working pupils riding at the Centre. Summer Term is set to be a busy but exciting time for all involved. You can find out more on our Equestrian Centre page.
