On a cold morning in February at Coombelands, our fantastic Equestrian Team qualified for Hickstead. Leaving the clouds behind and ushering in a wave of sunshine and success, students took to the floor this past Sunday and Monday.
In all, 48 teams competed from all over the country, with the winners travelling down from Barnard Castle in Durham! We showed an amazing display throughout, finishing fourth in the 80cm Eventers' Challenge Championships. The team, comprised of Tom M, Grace H, Indigo A, and Islay L, scored a total of zero team faults, and were fourth closest to optimum time. Islay was seventh overall out of 84 who qualified individually. What incredible success. A huge congratulations to all who competed!
