Football news
In the final week of the Advent Term the Junior and Senior House football competitions took place.

In the Junior competition a closely fought contest left all to play for going into the final matches. With School House finishing in 5th place, Second's 4th and Head's 3rd, Gibbs' and Teme Saints' (Teme and Saints House combined as one) were left level on points, goal difference and goals scored going into their final match against each other.

An end-to-end match with chances for both teams left the scores level at full-time – the Houses could not be separated, and both were worthy winners of what was perhaps our closest tournament ever. However, a champion needed to be decided and during golden goal extra time a wonderful free kick from Connor H into the top corner gave Gibbs' House the victory.

Junior top Goal scorer – Gethin W; Junior Player of the tournament – Alex G

In the Senior competition, which took place on the final day of term, one House stood head and shoulders above the rest, displaying a dominance throughout, winning every match without conceding a goal and winning their second House football trophy of the term. The final standings were Gibbs' House in 5th place, Teme Saints' 4th, Head’s 3rd, Second's in 2nd ... which left the trophy to a very well deserving School House.

Senior top Goal scorer – Marley R; Player of the tournament (Seniors) – Marcus Y
