Boys' House Cricket
On Tuesday afternoon, the Senior House Cricket competition was thrilling. In Group 1, a sudden death playoff between School House and Heads House saw School House win with tight bowling, limiting Heads to 65 for 1 and then reaching the target with only one wicket down.

Group 2 was equally exciting, with all three teams finishing on equal points. Gibbs' defeated Teme in the first game, Teme outperformed Second's in the second, and Second's narrowly beat Gibbs' in the final game. With each team winning one game and tied on points, Gibbs' progressed to the final, having lost only two wickets compared to Second's' three.

In an exciting final, School won the Senior House competition by 9 runs, scoring 78 while Gibbs' fell short with 67.

Tennis
After last week’s Junior House tennis, the Seniors followed suit with high quality, competitive matches from the get-go, as well as great leadership by many of our team tennis players. A superb commitment from all.

In the boys' event, results include:

In 3rd place, School House with 8 wins and 86 points; in 2nd place was Second's House with 10 wins and 92 points. This year's winners were Head's House with 11 wins and 97 points! Congratulations Head's and very close indeed with Second's

In the girls' competition, 3rd place went to Fields House, with 1st and 2nd place separated by a single point. With 7 wins and 58 points, Manor House (Manor were robbed!), but in 1st place with 7 wins and 59 points were Handford House.

On Tuesday, 50 Third and Fourth Form students competed in the annual Junior Manor Cup mixed doubles tournament, featuring a fun movie-themed fancy dress. Costumes included The Princess & the Frog, Ratatouille’s Remy & Alfredo, Shrek & Donkey, Scooby Doo’s Velma & Daphne, and Tinkerbell & Peter Pan.

Congratulations to the pairs who finished top of their box: Amelia G, Bryn H, Logan B, Nadiya L, Polly E, Alex McG, Vasilisa S, Yoon K, Jacob D, Hana C, Freya T, and Jack B.

The grand final of Harrison P and Michelle K against Jacob T and Esme B R was very impressive, with Jacob and Esme taking the win.
