After a much-needed rest over the Exeat, we kicked off the week with some excellent wins across hockey and football.
In hockey news…
The Girls’ 1st XI opened their National Cup campaign in style on Tuesday with a commanding 6–2 home victory over Worth. Goals came from Ava U, Sophia B, and two apiece from both Chloe S and Coco M.
Most valuable players on the day were Hattie P and Kitty H, whose standout performances capped a confident team display and secured safe passage into the next round.
On the football pitch…
Both the U16A and U15A teams maintained their winning starts, progressing through Round 1 in the ESFA and ISFA National Cups. The U16As swept aside Cardinal Newman 5–2, while the U15As produced a dominant display, beating Worth 7–3. Hat-tricks from Sotaro N, Matthew R and Patrick C capped off a fantastic afternoon of football.
The U14As also put in a much-improved performance but were narrowly beaten 2–1 in a closely fought match with BACA.
