Students explore opportunities at UCAS Fair

At the beginning of March our Lower Sixth pupils attended the UCAS fair at Brighton Centre. One of UCAS’ largest events with over 130 university representatives, employers and gap year specialists, the fair was a great opportunity for our pupils to start researching the options for their future after Lancing. They were able to ask questions directly to current students about specific subjects, get advice on the application process, and attend talks and seminars.

Lower Sixth Former Mary B commented: “I found the UCAS Fair really inspiring. Over 100 universities were exhibiting, including many I had never heard of or considered, and it was easy to gather information about colleges and courses. I learnt a lot about the medical courses I aim to apply for and what life is like at many universities. It was also very interesting to find out more about medical careers within the Army.”
