The children of Years 3 and 4 excelled themselves in showcasing to their families their singing, acting and performance talents across two evening performances of Roald Dahl’s “Little Red Riding Hood.”
The Snell Room was filled with laughter and amazement – a rip-roaring success! The school community had their chance to cheer on their friends during the dress rehearsal: like the adult audience, they, too, were astounded by the quality of the performances.
Of particular note was the group’s ability to work together and encourage those children who perhaps are not normally inclined to sing and act before an audience. Many parents and visitors commented on the outstanding ability of some of the main characters who are surely destined for success in the performing arts.
Huge thanks must go to all the staff involved and particularly to those pupils in Year 8 who worked tirelessly to prepare props and staging for the production.
