Our new Snell Library has just opened (September 2017) when it moved to the heart of the school on the ground floor.
Its spacious, calm and contemporary layout was designed with the expertise of Lancing College Librarian, Serena Marchant. Pupils feel at home in the library and enjoy readily available access to a wide range of fiction and non-fiction. It offers a wealth of study resources for all our pupils. It is well-equipped to teach Information Handling Skills and to promote independent learning for pupils as they move into the senior part of the school.
Many enjoy ‘dipping into’ our selection of daily newspapers and periodicals such as Aquila magazine. For older pupils, there is access to the very latest in historical writing through the Library website: the College subscribes to the highly-respected English Historical Review as well as a vast archive of publications on JSTOR.
