Our website offers a great introduction to life at Lancing Prep Hove, but nothing compares to experiencing it in person. We warmly invite you to visit us, meet our team, and see our school in action. It\u2019s the best way to discover what makes our community so special – and how we nurture every child to thrive as a confident, curious and kind individual.<\/p>\n
Every personal visit includes a meeting with our Head,\u00a0Kirsty Keep<\/strong>, followed by a tour of the school during a normal day. You\u2019ll have the chance to speak with our admissions Manager,\u00a0Sarah Olsen<\/strong>, meet some of our wonderful teachers, and hear from the real stars of the show – our pupils!<\/p>\n This visit marks the beginning of our admissions process. If you decide to take the next step, we\u2019ll invite you to complete a registration form and pay a non-refundable registration fee. From there, we\u2019ll arrange a taster day for your child to join their current year group. This gives both your family and our team a chance to ensure Lancing Prep Hove is the right fit. For children joining from Year 1 upwards, we\u2019ll also request a reference from their current school. Once the taster day and reference are complete, we\u2019ll be in touch with a formal offer. Sarah will then confirm your child\u2019s place once we\u2019ve received the acceptance form and entry deposit.<\/p>\n Our Pre-School welcomes children from the age of 3 into a nurturing and engaging environment. We work closely with parents to help children settle into our beautiful setting, offering a range of attendance options and 15 hours of funded childcare per week. While we don\u2019t have facilities for afternoon naps, we do ask that children are dry before starting. Once your child joins our Pre-School, they\u2019ll progress naturally into Reception without needing to reapply. For more details, please contact\u00a0Sarah Olsen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Reception is our main entry point into Pre-Prep, whether children are moving up from our Pre-School or joining us from elsewhere. We take great care to ensure this first step into school life is a happy and seamless one for both children and parents.<\/p>\n Year 3 marks the beginning of our Prep School journey. Many families choose this point to join us, especially after completing Key Stage 1 elsewhere. Early applications are recommended, as places are limited and in high demand.<\/p>\n We welcome new pupils into Year 7 each year, often from local primary and prep schools. It\u2019s a fantastic route into independent education, especially for those considering Lancing College or other senior schools at 13+.<\/p>\n Occasionally, places become available in other year groups. We\u2019re always happy to explore options with families, and children can join us at any point during the school year.
