Francesca Milling

Francesca Milling has a BSc in Food Science and Microbiology, she completed her PGCE in 2006 and her MA in Education at the University of Brighton in 2019 receiving a Distinction for her research.  In February 2021, Francesca was appointed PSHEE Subject Advisor for the 663 schools that are part of the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools (IAPS). In the Autumn term of 2023, Francesca begins her training to be an Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspector. 

During her career Francesca has taught children from Year 2 to Year 13 in a variety of schools: a large inner-city comprehensive, a secondary academy, a Catholic middle school and a community secondary school. She joined Lancing Prep Worthing in 2014 where she became Head of PSHEE, she was appointed Deputy Head in 2020 and Head Mistress in September 2023.

Away from school, Francesca enjoys running half marathons and walking on the South Downs with her husband, daughter and three dogs.
