Lindsey Townsend

Lindsey completed her BEd (Middle Years) at Homerton College, Cambridge University. She then returned to West Sussex, where she has taught in a variety of middle and primary schools across the county. During this time, she has led a variety of subjects. For the past 8 years, she has led and developed the teaching and learning of Maths at a school in Shoreham-by-Sea.

In 2011, Lindsey successfully completed her Leading from the Middle qualification, and in 2021 her National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership. In her role as senior leader, Lindsey has led whole school initiatives, been a trainee teacher mentor, and supported colleagues as an appraisal lead.

Outside of school, Lindsey enjoys playing netball in the Worthing Netball League and trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with her partner and son.
