{"id":73577,"date":"2026-03-02T11:11:52","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T11:11:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lancingcollege.co.uk\/prep-worthing\/?p=73577"},"modified":"2026-03-02T11:35:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T11:35:05","slug":"new-director-of-sport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lancingcollege.co.uk\/prep-worthing\/news\/new-director-of-sport\/","title":{"rendered":"New Director of Sport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Lancing Prep Worthing is delighted to announce that Mr Jeff Marshman will be joining as Director of Sport in April 2026.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are thrilled to welcome Mr Marshman to the Lancing Prep Worthing team as our new Director of Sport from April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff brings a rich and varied background to the role. He is currently Head of PE and Sport, as well as a Year 1 and 2 class teacher, responsible for teaching all subjects in a combined class setting. His academic achievements include a Degree with Honours in Sports Journalism and a PGCE in Primary Education and Specialist Training in delivering inclusive, high-quality PE provision. Before joining teaching, he worked as a successful sports journalist for five years. In addition to his professional experience, Jeff has an impressive sporting background: he played at academy level for Portsmouth Football Club, became a national champion in futsal, has captained and represented teams in football, cricket, hockey and rugby and holds a Black Belt in Karate.
