Lancing College Swim School

Lancing College Swim School offer lessons from Swim England qualified, and highly experienced teachers, with small class sizes and individually paced progression. 

Each of our wonderful teachers has a slightly different approach and we believe that matching your child’s learning style with one our teachers is a key step in their learn-to-swim journey.  

Swimming lessons run at the following times: 

  • Tuesday 3.55_6.15pm 
  • Wednesday 3.50–6.10pm 
  • Thursday 3.45–5.30pm 
  • Saturday 7.30–11.45am

LEARN TO SWIM TERM DATES SPRING 2022
 

Swim England stages 1–7 

  • The Lancing College Swim School offer lessons during term time for ages 3 years and above. Using the Swim England Learn-to-Swim framework, our highly experienced teachers help each child feel happy and confident in the water.  

  • Lesson duration: 30 mins (40minutes for Saturday 7.30am Stage 7 class) 

  • Price per lesson: £11.10.

Swim Squad  

  • for Swim England stages 8+ 

  • Weekly or twice weekly sessions enable swimmers to develop and improve their skills/strokes to a competitive standard, whilst also having fun! Swim Squad swimmers keen to take up competitive swimming may be invited to join Lancing College Swimming Club. 

  • Swim Squad runs on Thursdays 5.30–6.30pm and Saturday 12.15–1.15pm. 

  • Swim Squad is priced at £40 for 1 session per week, £50 for 2 sessions per week.

Rising Stars Squad 

  • For children that have completed their Swim England stage 7 award and are aged 8 or under (age as of 31st December 2022) 
     

  • A fast-track programme for children who are wanting to join Lancing College Swimming Club as competitive swimmers and fulfil their swimming potential.  
     

  • If your child is aged 8 or under and is keen to swim competitively, please email kwoolliscroft@lancing.org.uk for more information.  

  • Training times for Rising Stars are:

    Tuesday 6.30–7.30am
    Thursday 6.30–7.30am* OR 5.30–6.30pm
    Saturday 6.30-7.30am*
    *Invite only, when ready. 

  • Price per month £50.00
