Meet our new Nursery Manager
Meet our Nursery Manager

Little Lancing Day Nursery & Forest School opened its doors in September 2019 and offers day care for children aged 2 months to 5 years, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year.

At Little Lancing we aim to provide every child in our care with exceptional early years education and care. We are a graduate-led nursery and are very proud of our qualified and experienced nursery staff team. Our Nursery Manager, Rachel Martini holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Learning and Development (University of Brighton).

In our community we celebrate together, we eat freshly prepared 'home-cooked’ meals together, we play together and we learn together. Every child is valued as a member of our family and encouraged to reach their potential through play and exploration, plenty of fresh air and a balance of child-initiated play and adult-led teachable moments.

In normal times, each and every child who attends Little Lancing has access to the beautiful grounds of the Lancing College estate including the woodland walks, the equestrian centre, College farm and the Chapel.

We are not taking the children to visit the College at all during the current pandemic but our children are fortunate to have an extensive play area adjoining the nursery building and are spending as much time outdoors as possible.

There is more information about how the nursery is currently operating for enquirers and current parents on our Covid-19 page. This will be updated regularly in line with any changes in government and PHE guidance for early years settings.

Families are welcome to register their initial interest by completing our Online Enquiry Form

Little Lancing is co-managed by our partners, Tops Day Nurseries, a well-established and award-winning group of 27 nurseries currently based in Dorset and Hampshire. You can find out more about Tops Nurseries on their website www.topsdaynurseries.co.uk

The number of children on roll is increasing regularly now that Little Lancing is open to all children once again. Those members of staff on furlough are now back in the nursery and as more children join us, we may recruit more nursery staff in due course. Please visit our vacancies page to find out more
