At Lancing Prep at Worthing we aim to provide every child in our care with an excellent all-round education. We have small classes, dedicated teachers and outstanding pastoral care. Every child is known as an individual and every child is valued as a member of our family. We have three school rules: Love Learning, Be Kind and Go out into the World and Do Good.

A love of learning
We understand that every child is unique and they develop and learn in different ways. We develop positive relationships with each pupil and our staff work with each child individually, and in groups, to bring out the very best in every pupil.
We nurture in all our pupils a love of learning to enable them to maximise their academic potential. Our broad and balanced curriculum is enriched with high quality creative and physical activities to provide a vibrant learning environment.
A vibrant community
We offer outstanding pastoral care. Every child is known as an individual and every child is valued as a member of our family.
In our community we celebrate together, we eat a hot healthy ‘home-cooked’ lunch together, we play together and we learn together.
In this way, within the framework of a Christian community, our children develop a sense of service to each other, and the world beyond the school gates, which will characterise their future lives.
