Having qualified locally, Andy started in the IT industry in 1998, working at Northbrook College, West Sussex. Over a period of 12 years there he progressed through four job roles up to the level of IT Co-ordinator.

Andy joined Lancing College in January 2010 as Network Manager, and in March 2015 became Director of IT for Lancing College and its prep schools. From January 2024, Andy joined the Safeguarding team as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for Lancing College. He is the first support staff member to be in the Safeguarding team and adds his technical expertise as well as 27 years of working in education to the already very experienced team.

Andy is a professional member of the Chartered Institute for IT and is a member of Worthing Rugby Club where he played for 25 years and is still heavily involved in the men’s section.
