Over 60s OL Spring Lunch 2026
A wonderful group of OLs gathered at the Royal Thames Yacht Club for the biannual Over 60s Lunch. Following a lively drinks reception, guests made their way upstairs to enjoy a delicious lunch in excellent company.
Guests were warmly welcomed by OL Club President Nigel Wheeler (Olds, 1963–1968), before Head Master Dr Scott Crawford provided an engaging round-up of recent College news and developments.
The guest speaker, Tony Long (Field’s, 1970–1974), captivated the audience with a fascinating account of his life and career as a former Metropolitan Police officer.
Outgoing OL Club Chair Nigel Bennett (Olds, 1972–1977) carried out his final Over 60s Lunch duties with great aplomb, thanking the speaker and reminding guests of the exciting programme of events taking place during the Summer Term for all OLs.
