Lancing College appoints Victoria Deadman Gatt as new Director of External Relations
Lancing College is delighted to announce the appointment of Victoria Deadman Gatt as its new Director of External Relations from August 17 2026, working alongside the College’s Head Master, Dr Scott Crawford.
In this role, Victoria will lead Lancing’s Admissions, Marketing and Development teams across Lancing College and its family of prep schools. Victoria succeeds Diana Cree who after 10 very successful years, is stepping back from a full-time role to enjoy semi-retirement.
Victoria joins Lancing following five and a half years at Royal Russell School where she leads the Admissions, Marketing, Development and Engagement functions, working across UK and International markets she has successfully led the school’s reach into key global markets, enhanced feeder school engagement and led effective programmes to enhance parent engagement from first enquiry. She founded the School’s Development Foundation, supporting long-term ambitions ahead of their 175 Year anniversary.
Victoria is a board member of AMCIS and serves as a governor at the Hayes Primary School.

Victoria is joining Lancing and its family of schools at an important stage in its development and at a time when all schools are being challenged to innovate and build ever closer relationships with families, partners and the wider sector. She brings valuable skills to our excellent Executive Team, and I look forward to working with her.
Prior to joining Royal Russell, Victoria spent two years as Director of Communications and Events at City Lit which she joined following roles at London Business School, Aberdour School and the Evelyn Grace (Ark) Academy.
