Liz joined Lancing in 2014 as a Politics and English teacher, having previously taught at Eton College and Christs’ Hospital. She is currently Head of Politics, the Debating Society, and the Junior Scholars Programme, and also teaches in the History Department.
She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (BA), New York University (MA), and Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge (PhD), where her doctoral research focused on Irish foreign policy. She has published two books on Irish history and is a fellow of the RHS.
Liz is married to John and has two daughters, both of whom are pupils in the Lancing family of schools.
