Enjoy a welcome drink and three-course dinner as the story unfolds around you, with clues, evidence and characters to question along the way.

The Seafarer’s Nightmare
Tonight is the launch of Damian Hunter’s latest book, The Smuggle Is Real, exploring the exploits of a group of local pirates and smugglers who disappeared 200 years ago.Stories of their ghosts have persisted ever since, with tales of strange knockings heard from their graves throughout the nineteenth century.

A shocking crime brings old legends back into the spotlight. Secrets emerge, suspicions mount, and it is up to you to piece together the evidence. The interactive mystery runs throughout the evening, with actors moving between the tables as the investigation unfolds.
