Chaplain

As our Chaplain, Fr Justin has a key role in our pastoral provision, both at the College and in our prep schools, each of which he visits every week. He is here for our whole community, pupils and staff alike, whatever their beliefs. He also leads our annual Charity Week endeavours, when we raise tens of thousands of pounds during each Lent Term.

He is committed to our Eucharistic tradition and enjoys the liturgical richness of our community. He is also a keen supporter of the choir, having sung at Keble College, Oxford, as an undergraduate there.

Prior to being at Lancing, Fr Justin has enjoyed a range of roles in education and Christian ministry. Having trained in Primary Education, he has been a Head of Religious Studies and taught at every level up to Foundation Degree. Aspects of his PhD in Theology are published in  first book The Bishop and the Baptized by SCM Press. He has ministered in several schools as Chaplain and Governor,  and has served in market town and rural parishes as incumbent and rural dean.
