Exeat Weekends at Lancing
At Lancing, we understand that Exeat weekends are an important part of the school rhythm, offering students (and staff) a chance to pause, recharge, and reconnect with family after
busy and immersive weeks, including Saturday school.
However, for our overseas families without accessible family members or known guardians, Exeat weekends are more difficult. That’s why we’re delighted to introduce Home and Away – a carefully designed Exeat weekend programme that ensures students can enjoy a restful, enriching break – all within the care of the Lancing community.
This bespoke experience is available on a limited basis and offers a warm, welcoming alternative.
What Makes Home and Away Special?
Exclusively for International Families
With just 30 places available per weekend, this programme is tailored
for students whose families live abroad, ensuring a close-knit and personalised
experience.
A Change of Scene, with Familiar Faces
Students will stay in a dedicated Lancing environment just 40 minutes from campus – offering a refreshing change of pace while remaining under the care of trusted and experienced Lancing staff.
Fully Hosted by Lancing Staff
An expert team of academic and pastoral staff will accompany students throughout the weekend, providing continuity of care and a sense of home away from home.
