Aaron Connor joined Lancing College as Head of Computer Science in January 2025, bringing with him over 13 years of experience at Felpham Community College in West Sussex. In 2015, he was honored with the Inspirational Teacher of the Year award at the West Sussex Education Awards. Aaron holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Chichester and a BA (Hons) in Information Technology and Management for Business. He completed his PGCE and achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at the University of Southampton.
Passionate about educational pedagogy, Aaron is a lifelong learner dedicated to evolving his teaching practice. He also has a deep interest in spirituality and enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including 3D printing, painting, crochet, creative writing, and archery.
Outside of work, Aaron values family above all else. He is a proud father of three and a devoted husband to his wife, Gill, whose unwavering support he credits for his success in both his career and personal life.
