Henry Ellinger-Gane (Head’s/Second’s 2001-2006) joined us in November 2025 as our Development Director to run the engagement programme for The Lancing Society and deliver our ambitious fundraising plans for our Foundationers programme and other transformational projects around the College campus.

Henry studied Spanish at the University of Nottingham before six years in various sales and marketing roles at Nestlé. In 2017, Henry made the jump into the Charity/Not-for- profit sector and has since worked in Corporate and Major Donor fundraising roles at several organisations in the sector including Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, Whizz Kidz, and Centrepoint.

Henry is an OL (Head’s/Second’s 2001-2006), met his wife Kathryn (Field’s 2001-2006) during their time here and were married at the College in April 2015, so he is very excited to be re-joining the College as Development Director.
