Sporting Highlights – Friday 11 September 2020
It has been a busy start to the sporting term and great to see so many students out playing both summer and winter sports. We hope that the momentum continues this weekend and that pupils take advantage of the various sports taking place on Saturday afternoon, from 1.30–4.00pm.
Individual congratulations must go to Isabel A, who was successful in the Under 16 Regional Netball Trial for CD Phoenix, based at East Grinstead. They also recognised her leadership qualities and have made her captain. Well done Isabel, we are very proud of you.
Charlie G has continued to shine on the golf course. He made the ballot playing in the South East Links Championships, held at Royal St George’s and Royal Cinque Ports. Charlie also won the West Hove Junior Club Championship last weekend, with a gross score of 69 (1 under par) and 68 (2 under par).
