Sporting Highlights – Friday 28 November 2025
After a much-needed rest over the Exeat, we return with plenty to celebrate.
Over the weekend, Coco M represented Sussex in the Women’s Tennis County Cup, where the team secured impressive wins against Lincolnshire, Dorset, and Nottinghamshire. Coco played a key role in the final match, helping Sussex clinch the overall victory and secure promotion to the next division. A fantastic achievement, well done, Coco.
Hockey News
In Hockey news, earlier this week the U15A had a 2-1 win against Burgess Hill, goals scored by Theodora G and Olivia M – MVPs Lexi P, Olivia M and Molly C.
The U15B match ended in a nail biting 3-3 draw also against Burgess Hill. Goals from Jennie Y and two from Beatrice dC-W. MVPs to our two goal scorers.
Badminton News
On Thursday afternoon, our Senior mixed badminton team travelled to Christ’s Hospital for a challenging fixture. Led by standout performances from captain Nam S, Charmain F and Gladys C, the girls delivered a dominant 7–2 victory. The boys fought hard and pushed several matches to the wire, but narrowly missed out overall.
