Fees
We aim to make our fees as comprehensive as possible. Trips and excursions are billed separately. The preferred method of payment is by Direct Debit and we offer a Direct Debit Instalment Scheme.
The fees shown below include VAT for Reception through to Year 8. VAT is not payable on Pre-School fees.

We offer some flexibility over session progression, should you wish to introduce your child to our Pre-School gradually.
Lancing Prep Hove is registered for Early Years Funding Entitlement for the equivalent of up to 15 hours per week, term-time only. Please see the Financial Information for Lancing Prep Hove document on the link below for more information.

Billed by the school in addition to fees
Where a third party provider runs activities at the school, a charge will be made. After school clubs and care for the Pre-Prep are also charged separately.
Before and After School Care – Pre-Prep children may elect to stay at school for a specific club activity or for after school care, from 16.00. In either case fees are charged. After school care is available at a charge of £12.00 per hour and the charge is rounded up to the nearest quarter of an hour.
Not included in Termly Fees
Trips, visits and workshops. Parents will receive details of these in good time.
Music tuition for a range of instruments is available from a team of peripatetic teachers. Please note our visiting teachers invoice parents direct for the term ahead.

Learning Support
Charges for After School Play-Club and clubs offered by Teaching Assistants will be charged on termly invoices. Clubs offered by external providers will be billed directly to parents.

- Pupils’ Personal Effects Scheme– from £7.06 per term per child for the 2026–2027 Academic Year – cover for personal effects of pupils. (Cost of premium paid directly to cover provider)
