Pupil Headliners October 2022
2022 Cambridge Chemistry Challenge
Eleven Sixth Form pupils entered the 2022 Cambridge Chemistry Challenge back in June. Over 8,000 students nationally entered the competition. All Lancing students did extremely well, with Jimmy F gaining a gold award, James L a silver award, and Kristy W, Harriet W, Nima Z, David S, Daniela B, Thomas W, Grace C, Christina M and Ameila L, gaining a copper awards. A fantastic achievement given that only 10% of entrants gained a gold award, 20% silver and 33% copper.

Fencing
Fourth Former James C competed this month in the Sussex County Fencing championship, winning an overall silver medal against adults and is now the Under 18s Sussex County Fencing Champion and trophy holder. An exceptional performance for someone so young! Well done, James.
