On Friday 13 March 2026, the LPA will be holding its annual Comedy Night, promising a fantastic night of entertainment
Comedians for the evening include:
- Stephen Grant (MC) – A multi-award winning MC and the most experienced late show compere in the UK due to his 23 year residency at the Krater Comedy Club. He performs at clubs and corporate events all over the UK and on the international circuit and has taken six critically acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh Fringe since 2003.
- Ben Pope – Stand-up comedian, writer, comedy performer and OL (Teme 2006-2011). His YouTube specials Mr Big Stuff (2022) and Holy Cow (2024) have been viewed 56k times and counting. In 2023 he took Holy Cow on his first nationwide tour around the UK and NZ, including a run at London’s Soho Theatre. Not to brag, but Joe Lycett said it was ‘excellent.’ In 2025 he took The Cut on a new 14-date tour of the UK.
- President Obonjo – UK-based stand-up comedian, played by British Nigerian comedian Benjamin Bello, who performs as a larger-than-life, self-proclaimed African dictator from the fictional “Lafta Republic,” leading a comedy revolution with high-energy political and personal gags, appearing in shows like ITVX’s Stolen and at festivals like Edinburgh Fringe.
- Adam Bloom – British comedian and writer. He has played The Edinburgh Festival for many years, once winning The Edinburgh Festival Polygram Punter Comedy Award. In 1998 he won The Time Out Comedy Award for Best Stand-Up. He appeared at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival 1999 and 2000, winning a Stella Artois award for the former appearance.

To keep the good times flowing, a fully stocked bar will be available throughout the evening.
