The Lancing College Family of Schools is announced as Headline Sponsor of the Brighton Half Marathon Youth Races 2027 

The Lancing College Family of Schools is delighted to announce that it will be the headline sponsor of the Brighton Half Marathon Youth Races 2027, marking an exciting new chapter in its partnership with one of the South Coast’s most exciting sporting events.  

Having proudly supported the Brighton Half Marathon for the past two years, the Lancing College Family of Schools, comprising Lancing Prep Hove, Lancing Prep Worthing, Dorset House School and Lancing College, is thrilled to expand its involvement and champion an event that inspires young people to challenge themselves, stay active and achieve their goals.  

Taking place on Saturday 27 February 2027, participants will take on a chip-timed course along Brighton’s iconic seafront, enjoying the unique experience of starting and ending the course at the official Brighton Half Marathon finish. Whether they’re already passionate runners or simply looking for a fun new challenge, the Youth Races provide a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, set personal goals and fundraise for a good cause.  

In addition to the thrill of race day, many participants will be running in support of causes close to their hearts, raising valuable funds for their chosen charities while enjoying a fun sporting experience. This year The Lancing College Family of Schools will collectively be running for a local charity, which we will confirm soon. 

Every young runner will receive a commemorative Youth Races T-shirt, medal and goody bag, with prizes and podium presentations awarded across the age categories.  

The Lancing College Family of Schools looks forward to cheering on every participant on race day and welcoming runners, families and spectators to meet representatives from Lancing Prep Hove, Lancing Prep Worthing, Dorset House School and Lancing College at Registration and in the Race Village throughout the weekend.
