New OL Club Chairman is Guest Speaker at Over 60s Autumn Lunch
It was wonderful to see our OLs together again at the Athenaeum Club at this year’s Over 60s Autumn Luncheon on 23 September.
The guest speaker, Nigel Bennett (Olds 1972-1977), the new Chairman of The OL Club and who just qualifies to attend this event, shared a moving insight into the school’s long-standing ethos of educating confident yet grounded pupils. Nigel also shared with the audience why he believes that Lancing is a great school and how important it is to continue to support the College in all its endeavours.
We were also delighted to welcome for their first time, Ian McQuarrie (Olds’ 1974-1978) and William Pecover (Head’s 1974 – 1979) to this special occasion.
