Congratulations to Leila, who has been given ‘A Headmaster’s Award’ by Lancing College next year.
Head of English, Mrs Casey, says, “Leila has contributed to many areas of school life during her time at LPW. A stalwart of the drama club, she has performed in Fame, Matilda, and is currently rehearsing for her role in High School Musical. She has a beautiful singing voice and has greatly contributed to the success of our choirs and musical soirees. Leila reads and writes for pleasure; she shows a talent for creative writing, which we are sure she will continue to explore next year. She embodies our school’s aims of ‘love learning’ and ‘be kind.’ We wish her well as she continues her education at Lancing College and have no doubt that she will strive to ‘do good in the world.”
