The Class of 2026 has secured one of Lancing’s strongest and most diverse sets of university destinations in recent years, with students progressing to an impressive range of highly selective universities and prestigious degree programmes. While many pupils secured outstanding international destinations, this year’s UK outcomes alone reflect the breadth of talent, ambition and academic achievement within the cohort.
Approximately 72% of students with confirmed destinations progressed to Russell Group universities, while almost a quarter secured places at institutions consistently ranked among the UK’s most prestigious universities, including Oxford, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics, University College London, King’s College London, Durham, Warwick, Bath and Edinburgh.

Lancing has had an incredible year of applications beyond the highly desirable UK market as well. US applications are booking with students winning coveted places at world leading institutions like the Julliard School for Music and the Dramatic Arts and Parsons School of Visual Arts in New York City as well as a wide range of other places including University of California schools, Penn State and Northeastern University. In Canada, students have won places at University of British Columbia, University of Toronto and McGill. As well as places in Australasia and Asia, Europe remains a big draw for Lancing Students with leavers going on to: Groningen in Holland; IE University and the EU Business School in Spain; Polimoda in Florence and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan; the Norwegian Business School in Oslo; St, Gallen University in Switzerland; and the International University of Monaco among others.
