Open Mornings include a personalised tour of the College by a current pupil; this is also available on request for the Sixth Form Open Evenings.
Lancing is a popular and successful school; we would urge parents of pupils considering Lancing for 2020 to contact the Admissions team urgently to arrange a personal visit.
What to expect at an Open Morning
During the tour, guided by our students, you will be able to explore the facilities, see a full range of classes and activities in action, and talk to teachers. The tour will conclude with a Q&A session with the Head Master followed by a buffet lunch – another opportunity to get to know the staff, some current parents, and ask further questions.
What to expect at a Sixth Form Open Evening
This is a relaxed and tailored evening for pupils and parents. You will have the opportunity to talk to our Sixth Form subject leads, find out about our UCAS preparation, hear about the extensive co-curricular activities and understand more about our Leaving Lancing programme. You will have the opportunity to talk to the Head Master, to current Sixth Form pupils and also Housemasters / Housemistresses about our facilities for boarding and day pupils.
“A strong sense of a genuinely warm and caring school. We feel it is absolutely the right school for our son and, more importantly, he feels very comfortable with this choice”.
“My daughter was blown away by everything. Our tour guide herself was a real inspiration.”
“Academic prowess; freedom to choose from a wide choice of co-curricular activities – and be supported in them; school ethos and principles in which supporting each other was as important as personal success. We were hugely impressed”.
