If you went to university, where did you go and what did you study? If you didn’t go to university, what did you do instead?
I went to Brunel University London to study Modern History.
What are you doing now and what plans do you have for the future?
I'm currently running my own business that I set up whilst at university. My firm proudly supplies lighting and video products and services to a wide variety of customers in both retail and professional markets. Future plans entail growing my firm to have a global reach, with overseas locations as well as developing our own products to stay ahead of competitors.
What influence has Lancing College had on your life?
Lancing gave me the confidence to form my own path in life and through living in a boarding house, enabled me to develop interpersonal skills I wouldn’t have gained elsewhere.
What hobbies or interests did you pick up during your time at Lancing?
Besides my work in the theatre, which then became a successful business, I'm glad to have learned to shoot. Always a marvellous way to spend the weekend.
Are you still in touch with people you met at Lancing?
Yes, in this day and age, there's no reason not to be.
What OL activities have you taken part in since you left (i.e. OL sports events, Business Networks etc.)?
I endeavour to try and shoot with the OL rifle club at annual competitions. The young OL drinks is always marvellous fun too.
What advice would you give to a new pupil who is about to start at Lancing?
Enjoy yourself and make the most of everything afforded to you. It's only once you leave, that you then truly realise how much of a valuable experience it was.
